Dear ICF Professionals,

I'm pleased to announced the launch of the ICF Builder Group Newsletter to keep you up-to-date on what the Group is doing. My intention is to first, let you know how this association--and you--are contributing to the growth of the industry; and second, to keep you informed of the benefits this organization offers to members.  In addition to these major goals, I hope it will also build a sense of camaraderie among the members, answer questions, and give you a chance to show off your projects and accomplishments.

I've planned on launching an email bulletin  for years, but I first wanted to be sure it would consistently offer valuable content that our members would appreciate. (As someone who consistently receives a large volume of email, I'm sensitive to the problems of unwelcome, too-frequent contact.) My goal with this newsletter is to create something that is candid, genuine and beneficial. This will be sent to the membership quarterly to ensure that correspondence is never overwhelming and that the content delivered is a welcome addition to your inbox.

We're pleased to announce the launch of a new online database for ICF Professionals. Called ICF Hub, the directory is online at www.icfhub.com.  It's designed to make it easy to find ICF contractors, installers, dealers, distributors, architects, and engineers locally.   Builder Group members get a premium listing as a benefit of membership.

To claim or set up your listing, visit www.icfhub.com. and search for your listing via postal code or name. Once you find your listing you can click on the "Claim" button on the left below the ICF contractor icon. Register your account and sign in and you''ll be able to manage your entire listing including adding projects, images, logos, documents and more..

A reliable, comprehensive database to connect homeowners, developers, and general contractors is one of the greatest needs for industry growth, and I'm happy that we're able to fill that need.  The database is searchable by postal code, and features an interactive map. I'm confident that it will also be a great benefit to you, the members, as it should generate a significant number of quality leads for your business.

When your listing is updated, you will be able to select the areas you work in, the type of construction you do, photographs of past projects, and your company contact information.  Your clients will be able to include feedback on the jobs you have worked on, separating the conscientious professional from the amateur.

The distributor and contractor segments of the website already have well over 500 listings in each category, so please sign up and take advantage of this to let your services be known in your area!

We're committed to helping grow the ICF industry and helping you grow your business.  To do that, we've reserved a booth at the World of Concrete trade show. WOC is the largest and most important trade show for the ICF industry, and nearly all the major ICF brands will be exhibiting, along with numerous bracing, exterior finish, floor system and waterproofing companies. Most ICF-related booths are located in the North Hall, and we've just received our booth assignment.  For the 2019 show, we'll belocated at N1863.  As in previous years, we'll have a space set aside for you to meet with clients, collegues, and get reacquainted with industry veterans.  If you would like to volunteer to help out at the booth, please contact me with your availability.

The saying goes that every man's home is his castle, but Builder Group member Chuck Parks of Parks ICF in Tennessee has spent the last few years helping a client who wanted a literal castle for his home on Raccoon Mountain near Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The 16,000-square-foot home is nearing completion this summer, two years after the majority of the ICF work was installed.

You can view Parks' aerial video of the ICF walls for the project, online here: http://parksicf.com/parks-icf/   Additional photos and information can be accessed on the homeowner’s blog:http://www.buildingmycastle.com.
